Kalamazoo based Seven Generations Architecture and Engineering (7GenAE) received the 2017 Honor Award in the unbuilt category by the Southwest Michigan Chapter of the American Institute of American Institute of Architects (AIA) for their work on the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Native Justice Center. The Honor Award is the highest award that the AIA bestows upon architectural work. The award was presented during an awards banquet on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Kalamazoo.

The Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded Seven Generations Architecture and Engineering (7GAE) a contract at the VA Ann Arbor Health Care System for the expanding the 8th Floor Mental Health facility. The project will involve the renovation of approximately 12,000 square feet of office, restroom and corridor space on the Eight Floor. Additionally, the design will also include a 4,500 square foot 2 story addition to the main floor that will provide a lobby area and be an extension of the healing garden.
Seven Generations Architecture and Engineering has been selected to provide complete architectural and engineering services for the design of two new clinic facilities for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe a federally recognized Indian tribe.
